While working on Brickman's last adventure in 1996, I was going to take the strip into a darker direction. These two uncompleted
pages, halted at the pencil stage, reveal an underworld connection between Commissioner Moron and the evil Poker. But as there's
enough "grim and gritty" comics around I thought better of it and dropped that subplot.
Besides; two whole pages without anyone being hit in the head with a brick? What was I thinking?
